See how far past the hole the ball would have travelled as it rolls over, or use to improve green reading and visualisation of breaking putts. Plus a great tool to have available during practice rounds or on a crowded green. Ghost Holes are just smaller than regulation golf hole size for improved feedback - if it hits the edge, it probably lips in (depending on speed.)
